Centennial Park Golf Course

I am not sure why they charge $6 for parking maybe that’s why it’s always empty. Greed is wild but if you can get past that it’s a nice park if you want to pay for peace. Indiana just criminalized homeless people so I guess they don’t want homeless people there and that’s why they charge $6 just to park for two hours visit. If you want the illusion that this is a nice place to live go to this park. It’s nice to walk across the bridges and get exercise. There’s no one running with their dogs off leashes so that’s the upside to me. There’s a dog park (another fee) where they take their dogs I guess. Park at the hotel for free if you’re brave and come you will like it.

The course is a very nice municipal layout. The range and practice green are nice. The parking fees and procedures are ridiculous. I won't go there anymore because of them. It is clear that the town of Munster wants to keep visitors to a minimum and maximize profits. Greedy.

Beautiful course, excellent staff, one serious problem: the manager. The clubhouse and cart attendants were genuinely great, and the course is well maintained. But George, the manager, made lewd comments to multiple women in our group and was needlessly rude to others over trivial things — like someone accidentally walking in front of a cart. This isn’t a service hiccup — it’s a professionalism and respect problem coming from management itself, and it undermines everything the rest of the staff does right. I’d hesitate to bring my group back, or recommend it to others, as long as George is in that role.

Just golfed here. It is a beautiful course and the cart girl leah is amazing and so funny! But we did not have a great experience with George the course marshal he made us very uncomfortable and made us skip an entire hole because “it was super packed” when there was only one person behind us who was very nice and was completely fine playing with us or we would have let him play ahead. The other staff were very friendly but I have heard many bad things about George and I have personally had other bad experiences with him. He is the downfall of this course.

Awesome place to take a walk and enjoy the surroundings. On a clear day You can see for miles at the top of the stairs in all directions. You can also choose various ways to walk around the park as well. It's like a choose Your own adventure excursion. Hahaha! Try it for Yourself....
